Your page stays local.

The extension analyzes DOM, CSS, and geometry locally after an explicit toolbar action. It makes no Run network request, takes no automatic screenshot, and has no persistent site access.

What the extension reads

Within the supported top-level light DOM, a Run reads eligible text, computed styles, element relationships, and rendering geometry. Complete original values needed for Restore temporarily exist in the in-memory Active Run State. They are not serialized as full page text, a DOM snapshot, or a screenshot.

Code operates in Chrome's ISOLATED world without a MAIN-world bridge or application-global inspection. The DOM remains shared with the page. The extension does not prevent page scripts, observers, the browser, or other extensions from reacting or making their own requests.

Two data lifetimes

Active state and saved result
DataLifetime
Active Run StateIn-memory DOM references, original values, Mutation Journal, and Restore data. Released at Run end; never persisted as a restorable history.
Current Run ResultOne latest reduced, serialized, redacted result per tab in trusted extension-owned chrome.storage.session. A later completed Run replaces it.
Previous-Target SnapshotThe same reduced result after its Target Page authorization ends, with no live actions, rematching, or new measurement.

The saved result can contain Scenario, numeric Evidence, diagnostic Locators, short redacted previews, coverage, Restore outcome, and the page origin and pathname. Query strings and fragments are excluded. No multi-Run history, permanent or synchronized storage, Target Page storage, server copy, or full-text serialization is used. Session storage is unavailable directly to content scripts and page scripts.

Clear and end a session

Closing the tab deletes its stored result. Previous snapshots expose Clear saved result. To clear a completed current result through that control, reload, reopen the toolbar, and clear the Previous-Target Snapshot. Chrome ends session storage with the browser session; it is not durable storage or a backup.

Page Exit and observed same-document navigation revoke the grant. BFCache return does not resume it. Final result delivery and cleanup cannot be guaranteed after abrupt termination. The last successfully stored reduced result may remain for that tab until replacement or deletion.

Copy is an explicit disclosure

Copy Report as Markdown copies exactly the visible preview, only on your click, without a new page read. Clipboard denial leaves selectable text for manual copy. No hidden export, file, JSON, screenshot, link, integration, or remote transfer is provided.

Redaction is limited and cannot guarantee anonymity. Origin, pathname, Locators, short excerpts, and context can still identify an interface or reveal sensitive information. Review and remove sensitive material before copying or sharing. You control where clipboard content is pasted.

This website

The site contains static HTML and local styles. It has no analytics, tracking, third-party fonts, embeds, accounts, forms, advertising, or non-essential cookies. Hosting providers, GitHub, Chrome Web Store, and your browser operate under their own policies; their ordinary request handling is separate from the extension's local Run behavior.
